In a significant milestone for national security, student officers from various branches of India’s armed and paramilitary forces culminated their training in the Intelligence Staff Course for Officers at the Military Intelligence Training School and Depot (MINTSD) in Pune. The ceremony, held on December 6, 2025, saw participation from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and the Border Security Force.
This intensive course was meticulously designed to bolster the officers’ proficiency in intelligence analysis, operational planning, and inter-agency coordination. As the landscape of security threats continues to evolve, this training equips officers with essential skills necessary to navigate complex scenarios and challenges.
During the convocation ceremony, Lt Gen Devinder Pal Singh, AVSM, SM, Commandant of MINTSD, took the opportunity to commend the diligent officers for their accomplishments. He emphasized the importance of applying the advanced knowledge and competencies gained from the course to enhance operational preparedness and improve decision-making processes within their respective units.
The successful completion of this program is a critical component in strengthening India’s intelligence apparatus and promoting greater collaboration among the various branches of the security forces.
