Age Limit

• Medical Assistant Trade:
  • Unmarried Candidates: Born between 3 July 2004 and 3 July 2008 (inclusive).
  • Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy:
    • Unmarried Candidates: Born between 3 July 2001 and 3 July 2006.
    • Married Candidates: Born between 3 July 2001 and 3 July 2004.

Educational Qualification

• Medical Assistant Trade:
  • 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
  • OR Two-year vocational course with similar subjects.
• Medical Assistant (Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy):
  • 10+2/Intermediate with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English, along with a Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or PCI.

Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum of 152.5 cm.
• Chest: Minimum 5 cm expansion.
• Hearing: Ability to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters.
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Vision: Visual acuity of 6/36, correctable to 6/9 with refractive error not exceeding +3.50D.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Document Verification:
   • Verify educational certificates, NCC certificates (if applicable), domicile proof, and consent form.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
   • Medical Assistant: Complete 1.6 km in 7 minutes (for candidates under 21 years).
   • Diploma/B.Sc Candidates: Complete 1.6 km in 7 minutes 30 seconds.
   • Additional Tasks: 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
3. Written Test:
   • Duration: 45 minutes.
   • Format: Objective-type questions, bilingual (English and Hindi) except for the English section.
   • Syllabus:
     • English (20 questions)
     • Reasoning and General Awareness (30 questions)
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
4. Adaptability Tests:
   • Adaptability Test-1: Assesses suitability for deployment in various terrains and conditions.
   • Adaptability Test-2: Evaluates the ability to adapt to the military lifestyle.
