Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in southern France’s Marseille and inaugurated a new Consulate General of India in the city with French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday. He also visited the Mazargues War Cemetery to honour the sacrifice of Indian soldiers who died fighting in the World Wars, before jetting off to the US for a two-day visit.
