Application Dates:
Eligibility:
- Nationality:Â Indian citizen
- Gender:Â Unmarried male and unmarried female candidates eligible. Widows of Defence Personnel (certain categories) may also apply for select roles.
- Age:Â 20 to 27 years as of April 1, 2026 (born between April 2, 1999 and April 1, 2006, both dates inclusive).
- Educational Qualification:
- Technical Roles:Â BE/BTech in relevant engineering disciplines from a recognized institution.
- Final-year students may apply if they complete the degree by April 1, 2026, and can submit proof within 12 weeks of course commencement.
- Non-Tech (Women): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (for SSCW Non-Tech only).
Selection Process:
- No written exam. Selection is based on academic merit and SSB interview performance.
- SSB Interview (two-stage process):
- Stage 1: Screening (OIR & PPDT)
- Stage 2: Psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interview
- Successful candidates undergo a medical examination.
