Khushi Pathania, the Aviation branch’s Agniveer, received the Bipin Rawat Rolling Trophy for her outstanding performance. The Rolling Trophy, which was established earlier this month, is one of two trophies that will be awarded to military personnel for their outstanding service.

Pathania, from Pathankot in Punjab, was honored by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar and Gen Rawat’s daughters during the ‘Passing Out Parade’ of the Navy’s first batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka, the Navy’s premier sailors training center. She is the granddaughter of a Subedar Major and the daughter of a farmer.

Bipin Rawat Rolling Trophy
While one trophy is awarded to the ‘Women Agniveer Trainee who ranks first in overall order of merit,’ the second is awarded to the ‘Most Spirited Officer’ enrolled in the Naval War College (NWC) in Goa. These awards will be given in memory of the late CDS Gen Rawat, who was killed in a helicopter crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on December 8, 2021, along with his wife Madhulika Rawat, and 12 other military personnel.
