The All Arms Combat Engineering Instructors Course at the College of Military Engineering (CME) in Pune reached its conclusion on 28 October 2025, showcasing a remarkable exhibition of professionalism and technical expertise among its participants.
This comprehensive course saw the participation of 54 individuals, consisting of officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) from various branches of the Indian Army. Notably, it also included an officer from Ethiopia, highlighting the course’s international engagement.
The primary objective of the course was to enhance both operational and instructional skills in critical areas such as field engineering, demolitions, mine warfare, and modern combat engineering practices. By doing so, the program aimed to prepare instructors to effectively deliver essential engineering knowledge and fieldcraft to troops operating in a range of terrains and conditions.
Participants engaged in extensive training sessions, live demonstrations, and field exercises, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the latest methodologies in combat engineering.
Among the attendees, Nk Kamender Singh of the Special Forces stood out for his exceptional performance and earned the title of Overall Best Student of the Course. This accolade underscores the high standards of discipline, technical skill, and adaptability that characterize the elite training programs of the Indian Army.
