The Indian Navy has handed over a replacement Dornier-228 maritime surveillance aircraft to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF). The ceremony was held at the SLAF Base Katunayake and was attended by luminaries such as Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Baglay and Sagala Ratnayaka, Sri Lanka’s Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser to the President on National Security. The gesture demonstrates India’s commitment to strengthening international ties and defence cooperation.
