UPDATE: ADDENDUM TO NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO BSC(N) COURSE FOR MNS USING NEET(UG) 2022 SCORE DATED 17 MAY 2022
All candidates (Female only) desirous of seeking admission for BSc Nursing at AFMS institutions have to mandatorily qualify NEET(UG) 2022. Therefore, candidates are directed to register online for NEET(UG) through the website, https://neet.nta.nic.in . The last date for NEET(UG) registration has been extended to 20 May 2022.

Military Nursing Service MNS 2022 Notification –  Applications are invited from FEMALE CANDIDATES (only) who have registered and are appearing for NEET (UG) – 2022 for admission to four years BSc (Nursing) Courses commencing in the year 2022 at the Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). Candidates will be selected for admission at Colleges of Nursing based on the final merit cum choice prepared using NEET (UG) – score, Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (ToGlGE), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) and Interview, subject to medical fitness and vacancies at each College.

IMPORTANT: lt is mandatory for all candidates desirous of seeking admission to BSc Nursing course at AFMS institutions to

(a) Register and apply at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
(b) Qualify NEET (UG) – 2022 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
(c) Upload their NEET (UG) – 2022 score when asked to do so.

The Official Notification of MNS Exam for Military Nursing Service B.Sc (NURSING) Course 2022 has been officially published. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the MNS Exam 2022 exam from 11th May 2022 to 31 May 2022. Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type Computer Based Examination (CBE). MNS 2022 written exam is likely to be conducted in June 2022 across the nation.

Subsequent to passing the final year University examination for B Sc (Nursing) Course, the candidates will be offered Commission in the Military Nursing Service subject to medical fitness. The date of declaration of result from respective Universities will be the date of Commission for the candidates. The date of Commission determines the date of seniority in service among all candidates who have joined the Course in the same year. The tentative month of declaration of result of the existing six Colleges by the Universities is as given in the table below:

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

(a) Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated/widow without encumbrances.

(b) Nationality: Citizen of India

(c) Date of Birth: Born between 01 Oct 1997 and 30 Sep 2005 (both days inclusive).

(d) Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed in the FIRST ATTEMPT, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory/
Recognized Board/ University/Examining Body. Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally. The candidates finally selected for the course will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite subjects and marks before joining the course.

(e) Physical standards: Medical fitness of the candidate is decided as per the medical fitness standards and criteria prescribed for grant of Commission in the Armed Forces as amended from time to time. The minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Candidates from
Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 cm.

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 Selection Process:

(a) Shortlisting through NEET (UG score): The registration numbers (Reference No) of the candidates who are shortlisted for screening at a designated venue based on NEET (UG) – 2022 merit will be displayed at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The shortlisted candidates will be called for ToGlGE, PAT, Interview, and Medical examination at a designated venue. The admit card for the same can be downloaded from www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in.

(b) Verification of Documents: All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce all original documents as listed in the admit card at the time of interview for verification. lt is the responsibility of the candidate to be in possession of all original documents at the time of the Interview. The shortlisted candidates, if not in possession of documents as per eligibility criteria or at any stage of the selection process, if it is found that the information provided has been willfully concealed or misrepresented will lead to disqualification from the selection process/loss of candidature.

(c) Test of General Intelligence & General Enqlish (ToGlGE): The test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGlGE) will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 MCQs of two marks each for maximum marks of 80. There will be negative marks of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. These 40 questions will be required to be answered in 30 mins.

(d) Psvcholosical Assessment Test (PAT): The PAT is a qualifying examination and the score will not be considered for preparing final merit list.

(e) Interview: The candidates will be interviewed by a Board of Officers at a designated venue.

(f) Medical Examination: All shortlisted candidates will undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) at a designated venue. Candidates declared FIT/UNFIT in medical examination will be informed about their medical status, including the procedure of requesting for Appeal Medical Board by the President Special
Medical Board.

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 Vacancies:

The selected candidates shall execute an Agreement Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service (MNS), Armed Forces Medical Services at the time of admission. During training, they will be provided with free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance, and monthly stipend as per terms and conditions as amended from time to time. On successful completion of the BSc Nursing course of four years, the candidates will be granted PermanenVshort Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the terms and conditions laid down for grant of such commission. In the event of withdrawal from the course, termination of training, or refusal to accept a commission in the MNS, if offered, they will have to refund the Bond money Agreement Bond executed.

The date of declaration of results from respective Universities will be the date of Commission for the candidates. The date of Commission determines the date of seniority in service among all candidates who have joined the course in the same year. The commencement and completion of the course depend on the respective affiliated University norms.

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 Test Centres:

The candidates are required to choose the examination centre from the list of centres provided while filling the online application form. Allotment of centers wil be on “first apply-first allot” basis. If the number of candidates is inadequate/more than the capacity of a centre, the candidates opting for that centre will be allotted any other centre as per the administrative feasibility. No correspondence/ requests regarding change of centre from any candidate will be accepted

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 How To Apply:

(a) Interested candidates (FEMALES ONLY) may register through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in which will be accessible from 11 May 2022 to 31 May 2022. The candidates will be able to register ONLINE by providing their name, mobile number, email id, and other details. The scanned copy of the required documents also needs to be uploaded in the prescribed size and format. The candidate’s email id is the user id for this website and the candidate will select her own password. Candidates must remember their username and password for all future correspondence. Candidates are requested to make corrections to the filled application form using the EDIT menu and ensure all corrections are made before final submission. No modification in the application will be possible after clicking the SUBMIT button.

(b) All candidates (except SC/ST) will have to pay a sum of Rs 200/- only as an application processing fee through the ONLINE payment gateway. There is no applicdtion fee for SC/ST candidates. SC/ST candidates have to upload documentary proof. On successful completion of online payment, a bank reference number (DU Number) will be generated for the future correspondence of all candidates (except SC/ST) and a confirmation page will be displayed.

(c) Candidates may take a printout of the duly filled application for further reference along with the payment confirmation page.

(d) Once the process is complete candidates are provided with a provisional registration number (reference number). This number will be sent to the registered email id and phone number.

(e) The notification to upload the NEET (UG) -2022 score will be published at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Therefore candidates are requested to visit the website regularly

Military Nursing Service Exam 2022 Important Instructions:-

(i) lt is the individual responsibility to ensure successful payment of the application’fee. Receipt of DU number is not the criteria for successful payment; therefore candidates are requested (o make sure that the application fee is debited from the bank account for successful payment.

(ii) Candidates must take the print out of the payment receipt and read it carefully before final submission of the online application form.

(iii) Candidates must ensure the correctness of information during the online application /form filling. Candidates must understand that any attempt to willfully conceal or misrepresent the facts will lead to disqualification of candidature at any stage of the selection process.

(iv) lt is the individual responsibility of the candidate to check for updates at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, upload NEET (UG) 2022 score, download the admit card for an interview and check SMS and email regularly on your registered mobile number and email id.

(v) The aforesaid conditions are subject to modification if deemed necessary.

(vi) No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates with regard to either the receipt of applications/ status of applications/ details or reasons of rejected applications.

(vii) Hard copy of the application will not be accepted.

(viii) Reasons for rejection of online application are incomplete application, submission qf more than one application, and nonpayment of application processing fee.

(ix) Registration for online applications will open from 11 May 2022 to 31 May 2022 on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
