UPSC Civil Services 2022 Result Declared: Ishita Kishore topped the Exam

On May 23, 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final result of the Civil Services Examination, in 2022. Ishita Kishore secured the first rank in the 2022 civil services examination. Accordingly, Garima Lohia and Uma Harithi N placed second and third in the coveted examination, respectively.

UPSC Civil Services 2022 Result

The civil services examination was passed by 933 candidates. The entire list of successful applicants includes 345 candidates from the General category, 99 candidates from the EWS category, 263 candidates from the OBC category, 154 candidates from the SC category, and 72 candidates from the ST category.
The UPSC Final Result 2022 contains a Reserve List of candidates in addition to the recommended applicants.

The UPSC Final Result 2022 contains a Reserve List of candidates in addition to the recommended applicants. There are 178 candidates on this Reserve List, including 89 from the General category, 28 from the EWS category, 52 from the OBC category, 5 from the SC category, and 4 from the ST category.

According to the UPSC Final Result 2022, a total of 1022 positions are to be filled across various services. These openings are divided into the following categories: There were 434 General applicants, 99 EWS candidates, 263 OBC candidates, 154 SC candidates, and 72 ST candidates. I.A.S., I.F.S., I.P.S., Central Services Group ‘A’, and Group ‘B’ Services are among the services provided.
