CDSE

Combined Defence Services Examination is one of the most common ways to join Indian Air Force after graduation. It is conducted twice a year around November and August welcoming Indian unmarried candidates who are not older that 23 year old. AFCAT

Air Force Common Admission Test is another examination conducted exclusively by the Indian Air Force to induct candidates for the three branches namely flying, technical and non-technical. This exam is held twice in a year and invites unmarried candidates not older than 23 years old. Educational qualification is graduation in any field with 60% for ground duty, 55% with physics and mathematics and btech in college for technical and flying branch. NCC Special Entry

Candidates who have C Certificate of National Cadet Corps, Air Force Wing are can directly appear for AFSB and join the Indian Air Force till the age of 24. Having 60% with Physics and Maths in class 12 and 60% in graduation. Notifications are out around the months of June and December.
