Myanmar has begun to take this step at the same time that India has formed a joint command of all three forces in the Andaman and Nicobar group to encircle China. Chinese Intelligence Presence

China has provided substantial assistance in the field of arms and ammunition. Meanwhile, satellite images from January show Myanmar’s military government constructing a massive spy base on Cocoa Island in the Bay of Bengal.

Satellite images indicate that the Great may begin naval surveillance operations near Coco Island soon. This island is only 55 kilometers from India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands. China has begun investing heavily in entering the Indian Ocean through Myanmar and is now stepping up imports from Singapore using its sea vessels. China is planning to build a rail line all the way to Myanmar’s port. It will now have direct access to the Indian Ocean. Maxar has released these satellite images. Satellite images show that two new hangars and accommodations are being constructed on the island. Aside from that, a 2300-meter-long runway and a radar station have been constructed on this island. In the final days of March, this naval base became clearly visible. Myanmar has been embroiled in civil war for the past two years, cutting the country’s military government off from the international community. China is now capitalizing on this opportunity. China has made significant investments in the Myanmar-China Economic Corridor in order to reach the Indian Ocean. As a result, he will not have to cross the Malacca Strait and will be able to easily transport energy to his Greek province.

According to a report by the well-known British organization Chatham House, the latest evidence show that China’s influence in Myanmar is rapidly growing. Myanmar’s army has lost control of a large portion of the country, and the economy has collapsed. It is believed that Chinese companies are now working on the land of Myanmar, developing projects such as a port for large ships. At the same time, the military government has sent some soldiers to ensure their safety. According to the report, if Myanmar turns Coco Island into a naval base, it will pose a significant threat to India.

India is beefing up naval readiness in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in order to keep China at bay in the Indian Ocean. Myanmar’s base on Cocoa Island will be another major threat to India, which is already dealing with China’s all-encompassing threat. This may exacerbate the Indian Navy’s difficulties. India can encircle China in the Malacca Strait via the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, but Myanmar’s move has put India’s strategic edge in jeopardy. Chinese commercial ships will soon bypass the Malacca Strait and unload their cargo directly in Myanmar, effectively ending India’s advantage. Not only that, but China can now easily keep an eye on India’s warships from Coco Island.
