The MRZR 4 is an off-road vehicle from Polaris Industries’ MRZR line that is extremely mobile and versatile. The vehicle can be deployed for various operations and even in challenging terrain. In more than 20 nations, the US military and its allies are actively using MRZR vehicles.
The MRZR 4’s design and features
The tubular structure of the Polaris MRZR 4 vehicle features a traditional configuration with the engine up front, the crew seats in the middle, and the cargo area at the back. The height of the vehicle can be lowered by deflating the roll cage with the help of any small equipment.
When two additional rearward-facing seats on the cargo bed are installed, the vehicle can seat up to six infantrymen in addition to its standard seating for four people. Up to two seats/litters or one seat and a litter can be installed in the rear modular cargo area. Four-point harnesses with a quick-release clasp are included with the seats. Softcover can optionally be installed on the roof.

Additional Features
The MRZR 4 LTATV has front and rear bumpers in addition to a full poly under-body skid plate. In the front and back, it also has aircraft tie-downs. An off-road trailer can be towed behind the car to increase payload capacity. There are also infrared (IR) lights, a cargo plate, a tactical seat, a jerry can holder, and a spare tire holder in the vehicle. The MRZR’s small weight and off-road characteristics make it perfect for helicopter transfer and use in locations that would normally require walking.
Since their debut, MRZRs have received upgrades such as autonomy packages, litters for casualty evacuation, counter unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), direct-fire weapons, high-energy laser systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems, tactical aviation ground refueling systems, expeditionary command and control systems, and more.
Polaris has been improving the MRZR platform since it was first unveiled in 2012 to fulfill the mission requirements of the US military and more than 40 international allies, and the MRZR steps it up even more.

Due to the MRZR’s improved system design and payload capacity, it is now feasible to use indirect fire weaponry, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) systems, network-on-the-move, logistics, and missile launch in addition to providing infantry support. The MRZR maintains the blackout mode, two-liter capacity, and 1500 lb towing capacity typical of the MRZR line.
The most recent MRZR is propelled by a potent yet silent 4-stroke, 118-hp turbo-diesel engine, and a high-performance 8-speed automobile transmission. MRZR features a redesigned chassis that is bigger and more durable.
With a configurable locker for the 2WD/4WD drive system and 200 ft-lbs of effective torque, this gives exceptional off-road maneuverability and handling in even the most difficult conditions, such as deep sand.
