In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s interim direction permitting women candidates to take part in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 by its order dated 18/08/2021 in WP (C). No.1416/2020 filed by Kush Kalra Vs. UoI & Others, the Union Public Service Commission has decided to open the online portal of application on its website (upsconline.nic.in) for this Examination to enable the unmarried women candidates ONLY, who are otherwise eligible in terms of nationality, age, marital status, educational qualification, etc. as per the Notice for the said Examination (No. 10/2021-NDA-II), which was published on 09/06/2021 and is currently available on the Commission’s website. Physical standards and number of vacancies for women candidates would be notified after receipt from Govt. of India (Ministry of Defence) in due course of time. The application will remain open for women candidates from 24.09.2021 to 08.10.2021 (till 6:00 P.M). No application will be accepted beyond the
prescribed last date/time, i.e., 08.10.2021(till 6:00 P.M) or through any mode other than the aforesaid online mode. The Examination is scheduled to be held on 14.11.2021. Women candidates are not required to pay fee for their application for this Examination.

NDA 2 2021 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Before applying the NDA 2 2021 notification, go through the eligibility conditions to appear for the prestigious examination. The age limits will be mentioned in the NDA 2 2021 Notification.

NDA 2 2021 AGE LIMIT: Age limit plays a crucial role in this notification. UPSC follows strict rules considering the dates. The dates given by UPSC for NDA 2 2021 are:

• Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January 2003 and not later than 1st January 2006 are eligible.

NDA 1 2021 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As we mentioned earlier this NDA examination admits the young blood into the regular Army, Navy, and Air Force. Please find the below table for clarification:

NDA 2 2021 SELECTION PROCEDURE: To select the candidates UPSC follows 2 stages of the selection process. As this is a national level entrance examination the applications will be very high to imagine. So, they follow the below method to select the candidates:

• Written Examination
• SSB Interview
• Medical Test
• Document Verification
• Merit List

The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be as under :

National Defence Academy	370 to include 208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Air (including 28 for Ground Duties)

NDA 2 2021 WRITTEN TEST: To filter the candidates applied from the whole nation written test helps the conducting authority to filter the candidates easily. The exam will be conducted in Pen and Paper (offline) mode.

NDA 2 2021 SSB INTERVIEW: The candidates who qualify in written examination will be called for SSB Interview from the available centers in India.

• Stage I – Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture perception, and Description Test.
• Stage II – Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference

TRAVELING ALLOWANCE FOR SSB: Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of Commission i.e. Permanent or Short Service, shall be entitled to AC III Tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits. Candidates who apply again for the same type of Commission will not be entitled to traveling allowance on any subsequent occasion.

NDA 2 2021 MEDICAL TEST: Candidates who qualify in SSB Interview they should stay 2-3 days more at the SSB Center to undergo medical tests conducted by the board. To qualify a medical test, the candidate should be fit both mentally and physically.
