OIR Rankings and Tips to Excel it

The acronym OIR stands for Officer’s Intelligence Rating. It is an assessment of a candidate’s intelligence. On the screening day, the tests begin with the OIR. It is a two-part aptitude test. Questions of both verbal and nonverbal reasoning are asked in these sets. Candidates are given confidential DIPR test booklets and an OMR sheet. Candidates must answer as many questions as they can in 35 minutes. Following the evaluation of answer sheets. Each candidate receives an OIR rating ranging from 1 to 5. The better the OIR, the better the chances of admission.

Tips to Excel in OIR Test

Read and comprehend the entire syllabus

As I previously stated, when preparing for any exam, one should be familiar with the entire syllabus so that he can easily keep track of his preparations. The same is true here; knowing the entire syllabus of verbal and nonverbal reasoning would allow candidates to practice questions chapter by chapter.
