Surprisingly, Armenia was the first export customer to obtain the 155-millimeter ATAGS artillery pieces, even before India, the host country, did. The ATAGS system has passed all Indian Army User Trials, demonstrating its effectiveness and dependability. The Armenian Defence Forces completed two months of intense trials with the ATAGS guns at the Pokhran Range before placing their order.
