UGC Makes PhD Optional For Assistant Professor

University Grants Commission (UGC) Has Set NET, SET Or SLET As The Minimum Criteria For The Direct Recruitment To The Post Of Assistant Professor For All Higher Education Institutions.
In A Notification, The UGC Also Stated That Ph.D. Qualification For Appointment To The Same Post Would Be Optional From This Month Onwards.
Earlier In 2021, The Commission Announced That Ph.D. Was Not Mandatory For Direct Recruitment Of Assistant Professors Till July This Year.

DGCA Signs MoU With EU Aviation Safety Agency

The Directorate General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Has Signed A Memorandum Of Understanding With The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) For Cooperation In Unmanned Aircraft Systems And Innovative Air Mobility.
This MoU Will Facilitate Collaboration On Unmanned Aircraft And Innovative Air Mobility Between The Two Civil Aviation Authorities.
According To The Civil Aviation Ministry, The MoU Will Also Focus On Regular Information Sharing Between The Two Authorities On Technological Developments And Research.
The Ministry Said The Signing Of This MoU Will Accelerate The Growth Of the Indian Unmanned Aviation Sector.
