Passport Seva Programme Version 2.0

The Ministry Of External Affairs Held A Special Event To Mark The Passport Seva Divas On 24 June 2023 In Commemoration Of The Enactment Of The Passports Act On 24 June 1967.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar Announced On Passport Seva Divas That India Will Soon Commence The Second Phase Of The Passport Seva Programme (PSP Version 2.0).
The Passport Seva Programme 2.0 Will Include New And Upgraded E-passports. Jaishankar Also Called On The Concerned Authorities To Renew The Pledge To Provide Passports And Related Services To People In A “Timely, Reliable, Accessible, Transparent And Efficient Manner.“
He Noted That The Ministry Processed A Record 13.32 Million Passports And Miscellaneous Services In 2022, Marking A Rise Of 63 Per Cent From 2021, Adding That The Programme Has Contributed Largely To The Goal Of A ‘Digital India’.

In A Tweet, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri Said, The Feat Reflects The Untiring Efforts Of India’s Energy Soldiers And The Impact Of Policy Reforms. He Said, It Is A Significant Step Towards Becoming A Gas-based Economy.
Mr Puri Said, Since India Imports About 50 Per Cent Of Its Natural Gas Requirement, Enhanced Gas Production Within The Country Will Reduce Import Dependence. He Added That It Will Bolster Efforts Towards A Sustainable, Affordable, And Secure Energy Future For Indian Citizens.

The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) will celebrate Udyami Bharat – MSME Day in New Delhi.
During the programme, MSME Minister Narayan Rane will launch various initiatives for the growth and development of MSMEs.
This includes the CHAMPIONS 2.0 Portal and Mobile App for Geo-tagging of Cluster Projects and Technology Centres. Mr Rane will also launch, MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 for Women Entrepreneurs.
