It is also capable of being upgraded to STANAG – II ballistics.

The Mahindra LSV was created to meet the Indian Army’s future needs for a Light Armoured tactical vehicle. The LSV is available in two sizes: a six-seater and an eight-seater. The LSV provides ballistic protection up to CEN B7 STANAG Level II, allowing it to stop a variety of ammunition, including 7.6251mm NATO and heavy.50 BMG bullets. The LSV is appropriate for patrolling in high-intensity combat zones because it provides ballistic protection against IEDs, hand grenades, and anti-personnel mines.
