On Saturday, President Droupadi Murmu will fly a sortie in a Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter plane from Tezpur Air Force Station. Former President Pratibha Patil previously flew in the frontline fighter plane in 2009.
President Murmu to Fly Sukhoi-30
From April 6 to 8, President Murmu will visit Assam. The president will fly a sortie on the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft at the Tezpur Air Force Station on April 8, 2023, according to the HS. She will kick off the Gaj Utsav-2023 in Kaziranga National Park on April 7, followed by the Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition-2023 in Guwahati.
The Gaj Utsav-2023 will be inaugurated by India’s President at the Kaziranga National Park. She will later flag off the Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition-2023 in Guwahati. On the same day, she will attend a function to commemorate the Gauhati High Court’s 75th anniversary in Guwahati.
