Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi stressed the importance of Nari Shakti in achieving the vision of ‘Amrit Kaal’ during his speech from the Red Fort on the 76th Independence Day.
Indian Navy – Nari Shakti
In keeping with the vision of national leadership to increase awareness of ‘Nari Shakti,’ the Indian Navy, in collaboration with the Navy Wellness and Welfare Association (NWWA), is collaborating with M/s Jeep India to conduct an All Women Motor Expedition as tribute to the country’s and the Indian Navy’s brave women. The All-Women Car Rally, with the slogan ‘She’s Unstoppable’ and tagline ‘Soar High,’ would run for 12 days from the National War Memorial in New Delhi to the War Memorial in Longewala (Rajasthan) and back.

The rally would traverse through Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Longewala, Jodhpur, and Udaipur prior to returning to Delhi covering a distance of 2300 km. The rally aims to:-
- Celebrate 75 years of Independence.
- Showcase the contribution of Naval Women Officers.
- Motivate Women to join Indian Navy.
- Pay homage at Longewala War Memorial.
- Interact with Naval Veterans/ Veer Naris enroute.
- Conduct NWWA outreach as part of NWWA Day Celebrations.
Admiral R Hari Kumar PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, the Chief of the Naval Staff virtually, and Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President NWWA, would flag off the Car Rally from the National War Memorial.

During the rally, the President of the NWWA and members will participate in outreach programs at schools for special children, nursing homes, and orphanages, as well as interact with Veteran families. The women officers would conduct awareness campaigns about the career opportunities available in the Indian Navy. At designated schools and colleges, they would give motivational talks about the Agniveers and other schemes for joining the Navy.
The Navy has also partnered with Jeep India, EVO India, Femina, and the Marriott Group for the All Women Car Rally. Apparel India, DLF Promenade, and Luxottica Group are also supporting the event.
