The Indian Army announced on Monday that the seventh edition of the bilateral training exercise Ajeya Warrior 2023 will commence soon. In this joint military exercise, the armed forces of the two countries will participate. Such Exercises succeeded in fortifying relations between the two countries and aims to give training in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations to the soldiers of both countries.
The 7th Edition of the India-UK Joint Company Level Military Training Exercise ‘Ajeya Warrior 2023’ is approaching. The exercise is part of a larger effort to improve interoperability and share knowledge with friendly foreign nations. The sixth session of the India-UK Joint Company Level Military Training Ajeya Warrior took place in Chaubatia, Uttarakhand, and will conclude on October 20, 2021. The Indian Army announced on Twitter that it will participate in the 7th Edition of the Bilateral Training Exercise–Ajeya Warrior 2023. The exercise between the United Kingdom Army and India aims to improve interoperability while carrying out operations under the United Nations mandate.
Ajeya Warrior 2023
- During this exercise, an Infantry Company from the Indian Army and an equivalent strength from the United Kingdom Army would share their experiences obtained while conducting various military operations in their respective countries and during overseas conflicts. Both armies believe to benefit from their combined experiences.
- Both forces would learn about each other’s weaponry, equipment, tactics, strategies, and procedures for conducting combined military operations as part of the training.
- A series of Expert Academic Discussions on various topics of mutual interest, such as the Combined Arms Concept, Sharing of Experiences in Joint Force, Operation Logistics, and so on, would also take place.
- The collaborative military training would culminate in a 48-hour exercise to validate both Armies’ performance in conducting joint military operations in a semi-urban environment.
- This cooperative military training will help to improve bilateral relations and will be a significant step towards further enhancing the two countries’ long-standing friendship.
