Army Commanders’ Conference (ACC) is a biannual apex-level gathering that serves as an institutional venue for conceptual-level deliberations, culminating in major policy decisions for the Indian Army. The first ACC for the year 2023 will be held from April 17 to 21, 2023. The ACC is being held in a hybrid format for the first time, utilizing available technology for secure communication, in which Army Commanders and other senior functionaries will meet virtually on the first day and then travel to Delhi for balanced physical meetings on matters requiring detailed deliberation.

The first day of the conference will have agenda items sponsored by various Command Headquarters, followed by an update from Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command and sessions by Army Headquarters Principal Staff Officers. The forum will also assess progress on the activities outlined in the ‘Year of Transformation-2023,’ including the Agnipath Scheme, digitalization and automation projects, Combat Engineers tasks, work aspects, and budget management.
The apex leadership will also discuss existing and emerging security scenarios, as well as the Indian Army’s operational readiness. The Hon’ble RM is set to speak at the conference on April 19, 2023, and will also inspect an equipment show focused on specialty technology, innovation, surveillance solutions, Artificial Intelligence, Training, Robotics, Virtual Reality, Operational Logistics, and so on. The Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of the Naval Staff, and Chief of the Air Staff will also address the senior officers.
