A month-long Army exercise called ‘Buland Bharat,’ which attempted to integrate artillery guns with cutting-edge surveillance technology, came to a close near Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, on Wednesday. The training comprised coordinated operations and concluded in a test exercise in which troops and equipment were tested in simulated war scenarios in high-altitude locales under adverse weather conditions.

The exercise was held at newly operationalized high-altitude artillery ranges in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng area. The exercise’s major goal was to improve the Army’s preparation and operational preparedness in hilly areas. The drill comprised the deployment of Special Forces, Aviation, and Central Armed Police Forces in the area to achieve this purpose.

The training intended to integrate the use of cutting-edge surveillance technology with artillery guns in order to improve the Army’s tactical capabilities in high-altitude environments. The experiment put the equipment through its paces in real-world settings such as bad weather and difficult terrain.
