The Research and Analysis Wing, the Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti, and the Central Intelligence Agency are military intelligence agencies of India, Russia, and the United States of America respectively.

RAW, KGB, and CIA:
Research and Analysis Wing (RAW)
The Research and Analysis Wing, or better known as RAW, is the central intelligence agency of India.
The agency’s primary function is gathering foreign intelligence, counter-terrorism, counter-proliferation, advising Indian policymakers, and advancing India’s foreign strategic interests.
The agency was founded on 21st September, 1968 and is headquartered in New Delhi. At present, it operated under the Prime Minister’s Office.

There is no definite recruitment process as no one really knows how individuals come to be RAW agents. The entire process is done secretively.
If the RAW agency wishes to recruit you, they put you through a series of tests to see if you are physically and mentally capable of handling strenuous situations.
Recruitment is done from the Armed Forces, Police and Indian Revenue Service Officers and graduates from universities.
Majority of the missions that the agency undertakes is a secret to any common man.
Keeping up to date with data worldwide, predicting a threat to our nation, or even carrying out operations to restore or peace or prevent an attack is all part of the tasks that the agency undertakes.

Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KBG)
The Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti was the intelligence agency of the Soviet Union. Many believe the KGB dissolved with the Soviet Union, and the Federal Security Service is now the intelligence agency of Russia. However, some still believe that the KGB never truly dismantled and exists to this very day.
KGB recruits were well versed in several languages and counter-intelligence and investigative skills. They were also trained in shooting, martial arts, and combat.
KGB agents were either recruited by offering individuals material gain or by collecting compromising information about them.
Counterintelligence, antiterrorism and surveillance were the main objectives of the agency.
KGB spies could infiltrate in nation. Some agents would act as sleeper agents for years before they were given a mission. These spies were, without a doubt, the greatest.
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
The Central Intelligence Agency is the intelligence agency of the United States of America.
The agency is considered the first line of defence for the nation as they collect and analyse intelligence and further national security and pre-empt threats.
The agency was founded in 1947 by Harry S. Truman.
Only 10% of CIA agents are field operatives. Getting into the CIA is relatively difficult. One has to be physically fit, as physical fitness is one of the top most criteria to join the CIA.
CIA operatives go through about a year of very intense, eclectic training, first at the headquarters and then in a variety of military and government facilities.
The CIA is an extremely top-notch agency. Their ability to infiltrate and influence only have a few competitors worldwide.
Operatives are also trained in extensive hand-to-hand combat and various martial arts.
It is no secret that the United States of America has one of, if not the most, advanced technologies in the world. This invariable makes the CIA an extremely advanced agency.

All three intelligence agencies are advanced in the tasks they perform. Stories of the RAW, KGB and CIA are not unknown to us. We have all heard stories of their missions, operations, valour and bravery.
