Increased From 308.65 MT To 315.72 MT (4^th Advance Estimates) – Highest Ever.
Horticulture Production During 2020-21 Was 331.05 MT Which Increased To 342.33 Million MT During 2021-22.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme:
Provided 11.78 Crore Farmers With Funds Amounting to Rs 1.82 Lakh Crore.
It Was Launched In 2019 To Benefit All Farmers To Get Up To ₹6,000 Per Year.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana:
It Was Launched In 2016, Provides Financial Support To Farmers Suffering Crop Losses.
Over 36 Crore Farmer Applications Have Been Insured With Claim Approval Of 1,07,059 Crores.

Agricultural Mechanization:
It Is Vital To Modernize Agriculture And Reduce the Drudgery Of Farming Operations.
From 2014-15 To March 2022 An Amount Of Rs.5490.82 Crore Have Been Allocated.
Fixing Of MSP At ½ Times The Cost Of Production:
MSP For Paddy Has Increased To Rs. 2040 Per Quintal From Rs. 1940 Per Quintal.
MSP For Wheat Increased From Rs. 2015 Per Quintal To Rs. 2125 Per Quintal.

National Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM):
It Has Been Launched In 2020. Rs. 500 Crore For The Period 2020-2021 To 2022-2023 Has Been Allocated For Beekeeping Sector.

Enhancement In Budget Allocation:
The Budget Allocation Has Been Increased To Rs. 1,24,000 Crore In 2022-23.

Launch Of The National Mission For Edible Oils – Oil Palms:
It Aims To Boost Domestic Production Of Palm Oil.
It Has Been Approved With An Amount Rs 11,040 Crore.
It Aims To Provide Viability Prices Of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFBS) To The Farmers.
Agri Infrastructure Fund:
It Provides Medium – Long Term Debt Financing Facility For Investment In Viable Projects.
Sanctioned Rs. 13,681 Crore For More Than 18133 Projects.

Government Procured 31,08,941.96 MT Of Pulses, Oilseeds And Copra (2021-22) . (2020-21: 12,11,619.39 MT).

Schemes For The Promotion Of Organic Farming In The Country:
Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana & Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati Scheme.
New Participatory Guarantee System Certification:
It Is The Largest Participatory Organic Certification Programme In The World.
Jaivikkheti Portal: It Has Been Initiated To Assist The Small And Marginal Farmers In Selling Their Organic Products Directly To Consumers.

Kisan Rail:
It Has Been Launched By Ministry Of Railways To Cater The Movement Of Perishable Agrihorti Commodities.
First Kisan Rail Was Started In July 2020.
Export Of Agri And Allied Agri- Commodities:
Compared To 2020-21, It Has Increased From 41.86 Billion To 50.24 Billion USD In 2021-22 i.e. An Increase Of 19.99%.

Related To Safe Evacuation Of Indian Nationals Stranded In Ukraine In The February – March 2022.

India Has Been Concerned About The Implications Of The Carbon Offsetting And Reduction Scheme For International Aviation (CORSIA) On The Developing States.

Greenfield Airports Policy 2008:
An Airport Developer (Including State Government) Willing To Establish An Airport Is Required To Send A Proposal For A 2-stage Process i.e. ‘Site Clearance’ & ‘In-principle’ Approval.

5 Kg Of Food Grain Per Person Per Month Is Provided Free Of Cost For All The Beneficiaries Covered Under The National Food Security Act (NFSA) [Antodaya Anna Yojana & Priority Households] Including Those Covered Under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS) Reforms: 100% Ration Cards Have Been Digitized Under NFSA.
About 99.8% Fair Price Shops Are Automated Using Electronic Point Of Sale (Epos) Devices For Transparent And Ensured Distribution of foods.
One Nation One Ration Card Plan: Started In 2019, It Has Been Enabled In All 36 States/UTs Covering Around 80 Crore NFSA Beneficiaries.

Sugar Sector:
India Is The Largest Producer As Well As Consumer Of Sugar In The World. Indian Sugar Industry’s Annual Output Is About Rs 1,40,000 Crore Approximately.
Centrally Sponsored Pilot Scheme On “Fortification Of Rice & Its Distribution Under Public Distribution System:
Government Approved Fortification Of Rice & Its Distribution Under Public Distribution System” For A Period Of 3 Years Beginning In 2019-20.

Ethanol Blending Petrol Programme:
Ethanol Is An Agro-based Product Which Is Used For Blending With Petrol As Fuel And For Industrial Uses Including Manufacturing Hand Sanitizers.
It Is Produced From A By-product Of The Sugar Industry, Namely Molasses As Well As Starchy Food Grains.
Government Has Fixed Target Of 10% Blending Of Fuel Grade Ethanol With Petrol By 2022 & 20% Blending By 2025.
