Kashmir All Set To Hold G20 Summit In India

This year, Kashmir will host the first and largest international summit. Despite heavy objections from neighboring countries Pakistan and China, India will host the G20 tourism working group meeting in Srinagar from May 22 to 24. Notably, Jammu and Kashmir will host an international event for the first time since the repeal of Articles 370 and 35-A.

Kashmir, known as “heaven on Earth,” is the ideal location for an India tourism working group conference. Srinagar has been transformed into a smart city in order to make this event beautiful and historic. The world-famous Dhal Lake is being decked like a bride, and the Shikara (boats) on the lake are being repainted.

Jammu And Kashmir Is Expecting An Investment Of Rs 75,000 Crore In 2023. Pharmaceuticals, Cold Storage, Food Processing, Packaging Etc. There Are Foreign Investment Proposals Worth Almost Rs 3,000 Crore, Including From The Lulu Group.

Are Any Such Summits Already In India?

India Has Already Held G-20 Tourism Meetings In The States Of Gujarat And West Bengal Earlier This Year And Has Scheduled Another In The State Of Goa In June.
