India And 4 Other Countries Were Removed From The List As They Now Only Met 1 Of The 3 Criteria For 2 Consecutive Reports.
India Had Been On The Monitoring List For The Last 2 Years.
This List Closely Monitors The Currency Practices And Policies Of Some Of The US Major Trade Partners.
A Country Is Considered A ‘Currency Manipulator’ By US Government Authorities When It Is Engaged In “Unfair Currency Practices” For A Trade Advantage.
A Country Is Artificially Lowering The Value Of Its Currency To Gain An Unfair Advantage Over Others If It Is Under The Currency Monitoring List .
The Lower Value Of The Currency Will Lead To A Reduction Of The Export Costs From That Country.
The Report Reviews The Policies During The Last 4 Quarters Ending In June 2022.

It Is Run On A PPP Model With An MoU Signed Between The Inland Waterways Authority Of India (IWAI) And Antara Luxury River Cruises And JM Baxi River Cruises.
This Will Be The Largest River Cruise By A Single River Ship In The World And Will Put Both India And Bangladesh On The River Cruise Map Of The World.
