However, Bangladesh Which Was Known As East Pakistan Was Liberated On 16 December.
Pakistani Forces Surrendered To A Combined Force Of The Indian Army And Mukti Bahini (Bangladeshi Freedom Fighters).
As Many As 93,000 Pakistani Troops Laid Down Their Arms On 16-17 December 1971 In Bangladesh.

According To The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone Mandous Is Likely To Form Over The Bay Of Bengal And Is Going To Impact Tamil Nadu, Puducherry And Andhra Pradesh On 6-8 December 2022.
The Name Of The Cyclone Has Been Given By The United Arab Emirates.
Cyclone Mandous Will Be The 3^rd Tropical Storm To Rise In Bay Of Bengal This Year After Sitrang (Hit The Bangladesh Coast In October) & Asani (Bay Of Bengal In May Month).
The Name Sitrang Was Given By Thailand & Asani Name Was Given By Sri Lanka.
What Are Cyclones ?
A Cyclone Is A Large Air Mass That Rotates Around A Strong Center Of Low Atmospheric Pressure, Counterclockwise In The Northern Hemisphere And Clockwise In The Southern Hemisphere As Viewed From Above.

World Bank Increases India’s GDP Growth Forecast To 6.9%

The World Bank Has Forecasted 6.9% Growth Rate For The Indian Economy In 2022-23.
In October It Had Cut India’s GDP Growth Forecast To 6.5 Percent From 7.5 Percent Earlier.
India’s GDP Grew 8.7 Percent In The Previous 2021-22 Financial Year.
It Said The Revision Was Due To Higher Resilience Of The Indian Economy To Global Shocks And Better-than-expected Second Quarter Numbers.
In The 2^nd Quarter Of 2022-23 (July- september) Fiscal Year It Grew By 6.3%. The Reserve Bank Of India Expects The Indian Economy To Grow By 7 % In 2022-23.
