Gurugram Nuh Violence: The two-day violence in neighbouring Haryana, which began in Nuh and spread to Gurugram, killed six people on Tuesday night, putting Delhi on high alert. The Gurugram Police Department urged people not to believe rumours and to dial 112 for assistance, stating that there had been no major incidents but ‘incidents of arson and skirmishes’.

Clashes Between The Two Groups Began 10 Minutes After The Vishva Hindu Parishad Procession. Around 2 Pm, More Than 200 People Started Walking From Edward Chowk In Nuh Town. A Large Crowd Then Pelted Stones On The Procession. Initially, The Hindu Side Fled, But Later They Retaliated.
Some Reports Claimed That The Trigger For The Clash Was An Objectionable Video Posted On Social Media By A Bajrang Dal Activist In Ballabhgarh. The Reports Also Claimed That Monu Manesar, A Cow Vigilante Booked Earlier For The Murder Of Two Muslim Men Whose Charred Bodies Were Found In The Bhiwani District In February, Was Supposed To Join The Procession.
However, Monu Manesar Did Not Participate On The Advice Of The VHP, Which Feared That His Presence Would Create Tension. There Were Also Threats On Twitter Daring Him To Come To Nuh.

Section 144 Was Imposed In Nuh And Gurugram Districts. Mobile Internet Services Were Suspended In Nuh And Faridabad. Gurugram Schools And Colleges Were Closed On Tuesday. Except For Those In Sohna, Educational Institutes Are Likely To Open On Wednesday.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Said The Violence Was A Well-thought-out Conspiracy Perpetrated By The Anti-social Elements. List Of Violence-hit Areas In Gurugram: Badshahpur Which Is On The Gurugram-Sohna Road, Pataudi Chowk, Sector 67, Sector 70, Sector 57.
In Gurugram’s Sector 57, The Anjuman Masjid Came Under Attack Past Monday Midnight Where The Mob Opened Fire Without Sparing The Policemen As Well.
On Tuesday Afternoon, People Shouting Jai Shri Ram Slogans Set Fire To A Roadside Eatery In Gurugram’s Badshahpur. Some Shops In The Market Nearby Were Also Vandalized, Police Said.
The Nuh-Sohna-Gurugram Violence Has Killed Six People So Far. Four People, Including Two Home Guards, Died In Nuh, Where Mobs Attacked The VHP-Led Hindu Procession. A Naib Imam Was Killed At A Mosque In Gurugram.
