Following bilateral talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday, India and France agreed on a slew of new initiatives and agreements. According to Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, the Joint Statement contains 63 outcomes. This year will mark the 100th anniversary of India’s independence, the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries, and the 50th anniversary of the Indo-French Strategic Partnership.
