Coromandel Express Accident – How 3 Trains Derailed, Crashed At Same Place In Odisha

On Friday, June 2, a massive accident involving three trains – two passengers and one goods – occurred in Odisha. At least 260 people were killed in the collision, and another 900 were injured. The death toll may rise as remains are still being retrieved, and the Odisha government declared a state of mourning on Saturday, cancelling all festivities. Around 7 p.m. on Friday, the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and a cargo train collided.

  • 2022: On January 13, At Least 12 Coaches Of The Bikaner Guwahati Express Derailed In The West Bengal Region Of Alipurduar, Leaving 9 Persons Dead And 36 Others Injured.
