PM Modi stated that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) has emerged as an important platform for peace, prosperity, and development in the entire Eurasia region over the last 20 years. He stated that India regards the SCO as an extended family. PM Modi stated in his virtual address at the 23rd Summit of the SCO Council of Heads of State that several new platforms, including the Young Scientist Conclave, Authors Conclave, Startup Forum, and Youth Council, have been organised to harness the talent of SCO youth.

Addressing The SCO Virtual Summit, Mr Modi Said Some Countries Are Using Cross-border Terrorism As An Instrument Of Their Policies And SCO Countries Should Not Hesitate To Criticize Such Nations.
The Prime Minister Said The Food, Fuel And Fertiliser Crisis Are A Big Challenge For All Countries In The World Surrounded By Controversies, Tensions And Epidemics.

Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Have Reaffirmed Their Commitment To Fight Terrorism, Separatism And Extremism. They Emphasized On Taking Measures To Disrupt The Terror Financing Channels, Stop The Radicalization Of Youth And Eliminate Sleeper Cells And Places Used As Terrorist Safe Havens, And Cross-border Movement Of Terrorists.
Leaders Of The Sco Adopted New Delhi Declaration After A Virtual Meeting Of The Council Of Heads Of State Of SCO.
According To The New Delhi Declaration, The Member States Will Seek To Develop Common Principles And Approaches To Form A Unified List Of Terrorist, Separatist And Extremist Organizations Whose Activities Are Prohibited On The Territories Of The SCO Member States.
