Minor Planets have been named after four Indians by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). According to the latest Bulletin of the International Astronomical Union’s Working Group Small Bodies Nomenclature (WGSBN), the four newly named planets are Ashok Verma, Kumar, Rutu Parekh, and Aswin Sekhar.
